+ Where can I buy prints of your works?
Good question ;). Some selected prints are available at http://raventhird.deviantart.com/store. If you want a print of any other work, feel free to contact me.
+ Are you interested in some kind of collaboration work?
Definitely. I don't mind if you're a model, photographer, writer, musician, painter, digital artist or something else. As long as your work is good enough to impress me somehow. Contact me with a portfolio link or something similar and I'm pretty sure we'll have some fun in combining our creative flow.
+ Are you working on commission? Is it possible to use one of your works for a CD-, Book-Cover or something similar?
Hmm… yeah, probably. Drop me a mail, explain what you need and how much you're willing to pay and we'll see. Just don't expect me to fix your crappy holiday photos for free.
+ How large are the original versions of your works?
Depends. Usually I work with 8-14 megapixel images.
+ How was this image created? What's the trick behind your macro photos?
*Sigh*. Almost every day someone asks me something like that via my deviantart-account or via mail. Simple answer: I don't have a clue. Shitloads of daily practice, expensive equipment and some rudimentary talent, maybe. Best way to start is imho to get a good camera, some good graphic program and start to practice a few hours per day for at least a year.
+ Which equipment are you using?
At the moment I work with a Canon EOS 450d and a veriety of different lenses. For most of the macros I used the Canon EF-S 60/2.8 and/or a Hama magnifying filter. Most images shown on the website were done with an EOS 350d.
+ Where are the photos from that you use in your digital art?
Shot by myself in most cases, but I also use stock photography in my works. You'll find a source info for all the photos that I used on the 'Model&Stock-Credit' page. http://www.sxc.hu is a great place to start if you need free stock. |
